My wife passed away at 10:45PM EST the night of my last post, from complications caused by late stage Ovarian Cancer which was only discovered 12 days earlier.
It's been exceedingly difficult. I'm surrounded by support which I am endlessly thankful for, but still, losing her has been beyond devastating.
Our 11th wedding anniversary is on October 10th, 2026. As it happens, there is a charity run that day for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, called "Together in TEAL". What's the word for that... Serendipity?
I'm not traveling to Illinois for the main run, but I have coordinated my own run right here in our hometown of Grand Blanc, Michigan. We have over 32 committed participants so far.
